Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Addiction Specialist to join our team at BayMark Health Services. As a key member of our substance abuse treatment team, you will play a critical role in helping individuals overcome opioid addiction and achieve long-term recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to patients, including crisis management and coping strategies.
- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to determine service eligibility and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services.
- Develop and implement aftercare plans and discharge plans for patients.
- Perform bio-psychosocial assessments and complete other related duties as determined by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Licensed in Louisiana as LAC or LRC.
- Preferred License: LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals is a plus.
- Ability to demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patients.
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
