The School of Nursing at West Virginia University is seeking applications for a Non-Tenure Track Lecturer position. This is a part-time role, comprising 0.50 FTE, over a nine-month term, and is not eligible for benefits. The successful candidate will report directly to the department chairperson.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver clinical instruction within the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs. In addition to clinical teaching, the role may encompass various teaching formats, including traditional classroom settings, skills laboratories, small group discussions, and simulation-based education.
- Provide academic advising to students enrolled in the BSN program.
- A Master's degree (MSN) in nursing along with a minimum of one year of professional nursing practice experience, or a Bachelor's degree (BSN) with at least ten years of professional nursing practice experience is preferred. Candidates with two years of teaching experience in nursing are highly encouraged to apply.
- Possession of an unencumbered West Virginia RN License is required by the start date of the position.
- Demonstrated current experience in adult health nursing practice sufficient to exhibit professional competence.
