About the Role

Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Parvus Product Design and Applications Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our defense and aerospace platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components for our products, including conceptual design, 3D modeling, and prototyping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including assembly and part drawings, and Bill of Materials.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide input on design improvements.
  • Work with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on defense and aerospace applications.
  • Strong knowledge of 3D CAD design tools, such as SolidWorks.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability, assembly, and testing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
