Geisinger Health System is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at the Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic Olive Street. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting. This is a flex, part-time position with a variety of shifts available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood specimens from patients in a clinical setting
  • Perform venipunctures and skin punctures according to Clinical Laboratory Standards Institute guidelines
  • Process specimens for analysis and ensure accurate identification
  • Utilize computer systems to register patients, facilitate billing, and perform specimen accessioning and processing
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients and healthcare team members
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification
