Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Room setting, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients, identifying potential health risks and developing strategies for mitigation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois.
- 2 years of experience in Emergency Room nursing, with a focus on night shifts.
- ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and NIH certifications required; CPI and TNCC certifications preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
