We are a newly established facility dedicated to providing a full spectrum of Orthopedic services, all conveniently located for our patients.

We are currently seeking a Non-Certified Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) to become a vital part of our team due to our expansion.

Role Overview:

The Surgical Technologist (Scrub Tech) is responsible for preparing and maintaining the Operating Room (OR) Suite.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (No Weekends, No Holidays)
Hours: 4-10 hour shifts (40 hours)
Compensation: $30.94 - $32.57 per hour

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Certificate or Associate's degree in Surgical Technology OR one year of experience as a surgical technologist
  • Non-Certified Surgical Technologists must complete 15 Continuing Education Units (CEU) annually and report to leadership.
  • Preferred: One year of orthopedic surgical technologist experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare case carts for upcoming surgeries, adhering to the surgeon's preference cards, and communicate any missing items to the Materials Manager or supervisor.
  • Exhibit proper sterile technique and monitor for any breaches.
  • Assist team members with the terminal cleaning of the room and preparation of the OR for the next patient.
  • Conduct initial counts of instruments, sharps, and sponges with the circulator.
  • Support team members with gowning, gloving, draping the patient, and establishing the sterile field.
  • Oversee the usage and inventory of all supplies utilized during procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory control through accurate counts and restocking as necessary.
  • Help transfer patients between beds and stretchers as required.
