Job Summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in our long-term care setting. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse to deliver direct, professional nursing care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify patient needs and make recommendations for care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a LPN in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure.
  • One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.

Work Schedule

  • 7:00am - 7:30pm or 7:00pm - 7:30am
  • Every 3rd weekend and holiday involvement
  • 72 hours per 2 weeks

Compensation

  • The hourly range for this position is $31.25 per hour, dependent on experience.
