Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless transitions of care and promoting patient satisfaction.
- 1 year of experience in a neonatal intensive care unit or related specialty.
- Current RN license in the state of employment or compact.
- BLS certification required; STABLE and NRP certifications preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
Full-time, night shift position, 7p-7a.
