Post-quantum Cyber Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform network security scanning and assessment using common tools, including Tenable Nessus, Wireshark, and Metasploit.
  • Implement standardized NIST algorithms into existing systems to ensure robust security.
  • Conduct experimentation of post-quantum algorithms for use within crypto-agile systems, enabling organizations to assess their quantum-readiness security levels.
  • Research and develop novel methods to detect and defend against quantum threats, ensuring the security of classical systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security with 2-4 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Previous research into emerging post-quantum cryptographic standards and techniques.
  • Experience implementing open-source software solutions related to post-quantum cryptography.
  • Familiarity with common network and application vulnerability scanning tools.
