About the Role:
The Tool & Gage House is seeking a skilled Dimensional Calibration Technician to join our growing team. This role involves calibrating instruments and equipment, developing calibration plans, and maintaining meticulous calibration records. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, adheres to company policies, and excels at documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Calibrate dimensional and torque measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and gauges.
- Develop, document, and maintain calibration procedures for new and existing equipment.
- Perform routine inspections, testing, and adjustments as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve calibration-related issues.
Experience:
- Required: 1+ year of calibration experience, particularly with dimensional and torque instruments.
- Preferred: Experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Tools/Software:
- Experience with calibration software such as Indysoft is a plus.
- Familiarity with using precision measurement tools and equipment.
Skills:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
