We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Aspire Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Services. As a Licensed Social Service Provider, you will play a vital role in providing direct services to youth ages 5-26 and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial and ongoing behavioral health assessments, individual, group, and family sessions on school campus and in-clinic as needed.
- Complete all required supporting documentation within 24 hours from date of service.
- Obtain prior authorizations for insurance reimbursement and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with schools and community partners to facilitate tiered interventions, including presentations, small groups, and climate change projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with youth, families, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality, consumer-focused services.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of consumer outcomes and satisfaction.
- Attend agency and DBHDD trainings to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
- Master's Degree in Counseling or related field.
- Full licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, ECT) or associate licensure actively pursuing full licensure (LAPC, LAMFT, LMSW, ECT).
- Ability to maintain 50% billable productivity and dedicate 50% to non-billable time for authorizations, reports, discharges, and meetings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Knowledge of EMR systems and ability to complete agency and state required reports.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality services to our consumers.
