We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians (AEMTs) / EMT-Intermediates (EMT-I) to join our team at AMR Corp. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients in need. This is a full-time opportunity with flexible schedules and a competitive starting pay rate of $15.91/hour (commensurate with experience).
Responsibilities- Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatments while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Provide a safe, clean, and well-stocked patient environment.
- Operate an ambulance in conjunction with applicable company safety policies and traffic laws related to the operation of emergency medical response vehicles.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow EMS Providers.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Advanced-EMT or EMT-Intermediate Certification in New Mexico State
- Valid State Driver's License
- BLS, NREMT
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass the Physical Agility Test
- Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
