Position Overview:
As a Senior Clinical Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership of the Network in the implementation of various nursing-related policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to Network leadership and Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) on nursing-related issues, including policy guidance and clinical operations.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs teams to assist MTFs in achieving their clinical operational goals.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Military Health System (MHS) metrics related to Quality, Safety, and Outcomes, and support efforts to meet established targets.

Conditions of Employment:
- Candidates may be subject to a suitability determination based on a thorough background investigation.
- This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.
- A background check and credit evaluation are mandatory.
- Selected candidates will undergo a urinalysis screening for illegal substances prior to appointment.

Qualifications:
- Who May Apply: U.S. Citizens
- Education: A Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited nursing or healthcare-related program is required.
- Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience is necessary, which includes:
1) Assisting in the standardization of clinical and nursing policies;
2) Monitoring clinical care requirements within a medical facility or network;
3) Advising on regulations affecting patient care;
4) Assessing the impact of financial issues on clinical services.
