Key Responsibilities
Are you a detail-oriented team player? As a Production Supervisor, you will collaborate closely with the Plant Manager to effectively plan and coordinate the workforce for production and maintenance tasks.
  • Organize and lead a team of employees; this role includes hands-on supervisory responsibilities.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance, including disassembly, overhaul, assembly, and adjustments of crushing and screening or mobile equipment components.
  • Manage tool and parts inventory for specific tasks.
  • Complete maintenance projects promptly to meet production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records and data input spreadsheets regarding all equipment repairs.
  • Ensure all repairs are executed in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect, diagnose, and perform maintenance on all plant motorized equipment using various hand tools, power tools, and shop machinery.
  • Install and replace components such as bearings, speed reducers, shafts, and motors.
  • Perform significant repairs on crushers, screens, mechanical feeders, and conveyors.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn about hydraulic systems.
  • Carry out additional mechanical and maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in cutting and welding is essential.
  • Willingness to learn to operate crushing plant and mobile equipment.
  • Strong mechanical expertise with conveyors, screens, and crushers.
  • Experience in open-pit mining operations and aggregate products is necessary.
  • MSHA training is advantageous.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, working in confined spaces, and tolerating various climates and heights.
