Job Title: Operating Room Nurse - Travel Contract

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse for a travel nursing assignment in Yuba City, California.


Job Summary:

As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Your duties will include preparing patients for surgery, handling and preparing operating instruments and equipment, monitoring patient status, and assisting surgeries as necessary.


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for surgery, including administering medications and conducting pre-operative assessments
  • Handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment, ensuring proper sterilization and maintenance
  • Monitor patient status during surgery, responding to any changes or complications
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, as needed

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
