Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Commission Agent to join our team at Seminole Gaming. As a Commission Agent, you will be responsible for overseeing all gaming activities to ensure compliance with applicable State, Federal, and Tribal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor casino activities to ensure adherence to all policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Report any suspicious activities and/or irregular circumstances to the casino management team.
  • Cooperate with casino management and casino security team to ensure customer and employee safety.
  • Communicate daily with the casino surveillance department and/or other operational department heads to monitor and identify areas of concern.
  • Adhere to all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures, as well as the Rules and Regulations set by the Seminole Tribal Gaming Commission (STGC) and the Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a Casino environment is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an effective working knowledge of the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC) regulations and the Seminole Tribal Gaming Ordinance, Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS), and other procedures and standards.
  • Ability to meet standards established in order to obtain and maintain active the Employee Gaming License.
  • Demonstrate the highest degree of integrity, honesty, and dependability.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions

The position requires the incumbent to perform moderate physical activity. Requires the handling/lifting/carrying of objects up to 15 pounds, and the pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 pounds. Requires standing, walking, and/or sitting for more than four (4) hours per day. Requires the ability to maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
