About the Role:

The Clinical Pharmacist will optimize patient care by providing appropriate, safe, and cost-effective pharmaceutical care, including drug dispensing, IV admixture program, and providing drug information.

Working under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy and/or the Pharmacy Operations Manager, the Clinical Pharmacist will oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Optimize patient care through safe and cost-effective pharmaceutical care
  • Provide drug information and support to healthcare teams
  • Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff

Requirements:

  • B.S. or Pharm D. from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
  • BLS & ALS/ACLS certification (BLS required within 90 days of hire; ALS/ACLS required for attending Code Blue)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy
  • One (1) year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
