Job Title: Lead Dentist - Community Dental Program

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Dentist to join our team at El Centro Family Health. As a key member of our dental program, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and leading our team of dental professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general dental care services to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, extractions, and other procedures as needed.
  • Supervise and mentor dental hygienists, expanded function dental auxiliaries, and dental assistants to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate with the Dental Clinic Manager to oversee the clinic's daily activities and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved and accredited school of dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
  • Licensure to practice dentistry in New Mexico is required; licensure must be kept current, full, and unrestricted through participation in continuing education courses.
  • Endorsement by the New Mexico Board of Dentistry is required for out-of-state licensure.
  • BLS or CPR certification is necessary.

What We Offer:

A competitive estimated salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on industry standards and regional data, ensuring that our compensation aligns with the market average.
