You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary team at the Prevention and Recovery Center, ensuring that our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Your meticulous approach and commitment to excellence will enhance the quality of care we provide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and uphold the laundry services for all bedding and towels.
- Identify and report any safety risks or infection control concerns to the supervisor.
- Change linens for clients as needed.
- Guarantee the cleanliness and sanitation of all facility areas, including kitchens and restrooms.
- Coordinate daily cleaning tasks with the nursing staff to ensure thorough housekeeping in patient living and recreational spaces.
- Regularly check exit routes to ensure they are unobstructed and accessible.
- Safely transport waste and hazardous materials to designated disposal locations.
- Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting rooms, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and hallways in a tidy and sanitary manner.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to established quality standards while executing job responsibilities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet departmental goals and foster positive working relationships.
- Apply common sense to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and supplies according to established protocols.
- Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Assist visitors with directions as needed.
This is a part-time role requiring availability on specified weekdays.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Completion of 8th grade or equivalent; high school diploma preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a residential or healthcare setting.
- Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor in all professional interactions.
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Basic computer skills are required.
