Job Summary

CBRE is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering and Technical Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems at facilities. This includes conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.

About the Role:

As an HVAC Technician at CBRE, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, and maintaining small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment. You will also conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety. Additionally, you will troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.

• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation of equipment and compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and work safety.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine the best course of action for equipment modifications.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
