Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Director to lead our healthcare team at Western Correctional Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for structuring and implementing the Nursing Services Program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of nurses and paraprofessional nursing personnel
  • Review and analyze daily reports to ensure quality care and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate offender care requirements with other departments and outside healthcare facilities
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and national standards
  • Provide training and guidance to nursing staff to ensure quality care and patient satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current Illinois R.N. License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Minimum two years of nursing experience, with two years of administrative and/or correctional nursing experience preferred
