Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans for children and adolescents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Conduct crisis interventions and provide emergency psychiatric services as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in the department
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within 36 months of hire
  • Medical License in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • DEA License in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
