Operations Excellence Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Excellence Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead Lean Six Sigma projects in our Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) company.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the analysis and measurement of business processes, using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance process efficiency, quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Lean Six Sigma projects from initiation to completion, ensuring achievement of project goals and objectives.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams to analyze and measure business processes, using Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Develop and maintain a portfolio of continuous improvement projects, prioritizing based on strategic objectives, impact, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, identify performance metrics, and establish project timelines.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by engaging and collaborating with employees at all levels.
Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Solid command of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools, with certification in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt) highly desirable.
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading Lean Six Sigma projects in the EMS industry or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and recommend improvement strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred. Additionally, they should have relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
