We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Teller to join our team at Black Hills Federal Credit Union. As a Teller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional member service, handling cash transactions, and performing various teller duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist members with transactions and perform other teller duties
- Determine the nature of the member's business and refer them to the proper staff person when necessary
- Perform teller functions on a daily basis, including standing for prolonged periods of time and lifting cash drawers and coin bags
- Responsible for cash drawer, account for assigned cash, and accurately balance to the computer balance sheet
- Educate and inform members of all BHFCU products and services, and cross-sell when applicable
- High school level of language, math, and reasoning skills
- Direct cash handling experience in previous positions with equal responsibilities
- Ability to understand and follow moderately complex written and verbal instructions
- Ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers, management, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive attitude
The Teller will work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously, and will be required to stand for prolonged periods of time. The job requires extensive member contact on a continual basis and a degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations.
