About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Specialist to join our team in Palmer, AK. This is a unique opportunity to work with adults 21 and older with severe and persistent mental illness in a structured environment that blends integrated behavioral and primary care services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma, daily living circumstances, group, individual, family, and couples therapy
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Doctoral degree in Psychiatry (BC or BE) from an accredited institution
  • Experience working in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $256,313.89 - $410,102.22 per year
  • 5% annual base increase up to 5%
  • Relocation assistance of $30,000

  • Over 400 hours of PTO and 13 Federal Holidays
