St. Croix Health is seeking a dedicated Clinic Assistant to join our team at the St. Croix Falls Clinic, primarily supporting our primary care physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient chart preparation and documentation.
- Administer vaccinations and provide support during patient appointments.
- Welcome patients and ensure a positive experience during their visit.
Training and Development:
The successful candidate will undergo a comprehensive training program lasting 4-6 weeks, working alongside experienced staff to build confidence and competence in the role. This training will also facilitate collaboration with various departments, including patient access, laboratory, and imaging services.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN licensure in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
- Current CPR certification is required within six months of hire and must be maintained throughout employment.
Work Environment:
- Flexibility in work schedules is essential, as shifts may start before 8:00 AM and conclude after 5:00 PM.
- The primary work location will be St. Croix Falls, with potential responsibilities at other clinic sites.
