We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Worker to join our team at North Carolina State University. Key Responsibilities- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the dining hall.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous food service experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing customer volume levels.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
