Wellstar North Fulton Hospital is seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to lead our Neuro-MedSurg unit on a full-time night shift basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing the daily activities of the unit to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Rounds on every patient daily to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care, taking corrective action when needed.
- Performs or provides oversight for the Nursing Process, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking to ensure individualized care.
- Provides relationship-based care delivery, partnering with patients and significant others to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Practices using current clinical practice standards, focusing on safety and quality.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing with an Associate Degree/Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor certification required.
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact license required.
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience required, with 2 years preferred.
