Position Overview

The Cardiac Sonography Specialist is tasked with the proficient operation of sonographic equipment, conducting diagnostic examinations, and effectively communicating the results. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality patient care through advanced imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform independent sonographic examinations and interpret results.
  • Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of the field, including emerging procedures and technologies.
Qualifications
  • Registered with RDCS, CCI, RDMS, or ARRT(S) (required within two years if holding a conditional NDMIRTBE license).
  • Possess a valid NDMIRTBE license or conditional license.
  • BLS certification is mandatory prior to commencement.
Additional Requirements

Applicants must provide a copy of a Driver's License or Government Issued ID. E-verify or Attestation is required. ACLS certification is necessary for specific units, such as ICU, PCU, NICU, and Labor and Delivery. BLS certification is essential for all nursing and allied health positions.

Physical examinations and fit tests must be completed within one year of employment. Documentation for Hepatitis B vaccination is also required.
