Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled professional to oversee and manage the treatment of patients dealing with wounds, ostomies, and continence challenges. This position is crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-focused care efficiently from the moment of admission through to discharge. Effective collaboration with various healthcare professionals is vital to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Preferred: Graduate of a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education Program
  • Experience: Nurse residency required for candidates with less than 9 months of experience
  • Licensure: Current RN license with the Texas Board of Nursing, certification from WOCNCB, and CPR certification
Skills and Competencies:
  • Deliver patient care in alignment with state regulations and established protocols
  • Exhibit strong communication skills to facilitate a multidisciplinary care approach
  • Assess, prioritize, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal health outcomes
  • Demonstrate independent judgment and leadership capabilities
  • Possess foundational knowledge of negative pressure wound therapies and operating room procedures
