Job Overview

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a flexible per diem position.

This opportunity allows you to work on your own schedule, choosing from a variety of shifts and locations.

Key Highlights:

  • $40/hr base rate
  • Variable shift incentives
  • W-2 employee
  • Minimum 1 shift in 90 days
  • 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts available
  • Work where and when you want

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a variety of settings
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in the Gig Nursing Program, which requires flexibility and availability for last-minute shifts

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
  • Current compact RN license
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • Preferred experience: one year of recent bed-side RN experience in Med Surg or two years of experience in other specialties

Locations:

  • Fort Smith Medical Surgical and ICU only
  • Community Hospitals: Waldron, Paris, Ozark, Booneville, Berryville
