Senior Medical Technologist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Technologist to join our team at Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of our testing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform moderate and high-complexity testing as part of the patient care process.
  • Analyze, review, and report testing results with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Recognize and implement effective solutions to ensure quality control and compliance.
  • Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards, prioritizing safety and well-being.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related science from an accredited program.
  • Current active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) as a medical laboratory scientist (MLS) or American Medical Technologist as Medical Laboratory Technician or MLT (AMT).
  • A minimum of 4 years of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or commercial lab setting.
  • Good computer knowledge and skills in lab information systems.
  • Previous specialized experience in microbiology and blood banking is preferred.
