Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
