Job Description

Roaring Brook LLC is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Associate Level IOP Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our intensive outpatient program, you will provide therapeutic interventions to adults receiving treatment for substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and family therapy sessions to support participants in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Facilitate psychoeducation, recovery-focused, and relapse prevention groups to promote healthy coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies.
  • Collaborate with participants to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and 12-step recovery models.
  • Work closely with the admissions coordinator to ensure timely and effective delivery of services to incoming participants.
  • Consult with peer support specialists and case managers to address psychosocial barriers impacting participants' recovery and treatment progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date service documentation in our electronic medical record system.
  • Participate in regular treatment team meetings, program development meetings, and ongoing trainings to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a behavioral science with clinical application.
  • Current independent clinical licensure in Kentucky (LCADC, LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, CSW) with licensure or certification in addiction counseling preferred.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of SUD treatment methods and recovery support systems required.
  • 12-step knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of three years' experience working directly with addiction and/or substance dependence, with experience in MAT and/or detox treatment settings a plus.
