About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Specialist to join our team at Innova Solutions. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our calibration processes.

Job Description:

The Calibration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the calibration schedule for all measuring and test equipment, ensuring that calibrations are performed on time and in compliance with industry standards and company procedures. This includes maintaining accurate calibration records and databases, coordinating with external calibration service providers, issuing calibration certificates and labels, and identifying and segregating out-of-calibration or out-of-tolerance equipment and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of calibration schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to industry standards
  • Maintenance of accurate calibration records and databases
  • Coordination with external calibration service providers
  • Issuance of calibration certificates and labels
  • Identification and segregation of out-of-calibration or out-of-tolerance equipment and tools
  • Development and implementation of calibration procedures and processes to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Management of calibration standards and reference materials
  • Reporting and metrics on calibration activities to management

Requirements:

  • High School education + 6 years hands-on calibration experience or technical experience and demonstrated competence
  • Preferably a minimum of 1 year's experience in aerospace or automotive industry
  • Knowledge of calibration systems and processes is desirable
  • Familiarity with AS and ISO requirements
  • Ability to operate a standard personal computer
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional groups/teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage activities to meet pre-determined deadlines
