Position Overview:
  • Role: Airframe and Powerplant Technician

    • Engages in the assembly, disassembly, and repair processes essential for airframe overhauls, modifications, and upgrades. This includes the removal, replacement, and repair of components related to engines, airframes, and aircraft structures and systems.

    • Executes airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to comply with organizational and FAA standards.

    • Conducts routine inspections and troubleshooting of airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.

    • Manages airframe system changes, component replacements, and systems evaluations.

    • Deciphers technical manuals, schematics, drawings, and blueprints.

    • Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.

    • Must exhibit competencies necessary to fulfill business objectives.

    • Acts as a leader and mentor within a functional or cross-functional team.

    Educational Qualifications: Airframe and Powerplant License

    Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in diverse jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance, or airframe sheet metal maintenance.

    Required Knowledge: Must possess experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations. Proficient in operating all pneumatic, power, and hand tools and equipment necessary for completing work tasks. Requires proficiency in arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications, along with a solid understanding of jet, piston, airframe, and engine principles.

    Physical and Mental Requirements: Maximum weight handling will align with Environmental Safety and Health regulations. Duties may occasionally require standing, kneeling, or squatting. Good vision and the ability to differentiate colors are essential.
