Position Overview:
Ardent Health Services is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Faculty Physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine to enhance our esteemed medical team. This role is based in a prominent healthcare facility, recognized as a Level 1 Trauma Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of 8 dedicated physicians
- Benefit from Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care settings
- Oversee a 68-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Supervise residents (1-3) during ICU rotations
- Participate in ICU call duties: 1 week per month, shared with 2-3 colleagues (with NP night assistance)
- Manage a diverse patient population, excluding Trauma ICU cases
- Perform necessary procedures including tubes, lines, and intubations
- Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
