The Moving Consultant serves as an Outside Sales Professional, tasked with promoting and securing bookings for our extensive moving and storage solutions. This role involves leveraging the Coleman Worldwide brand to generate new business opportunities and utilize company-provided sales leads to enhance branch profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive in-person assessments of clients' residences or workplaces and perform customer evaluations during scheduled appointments.
- Provide estimates and finalize agreements on all assigned leads.
- Identify and pursue potential new clients.
- Engage with prospective customers to follow up and convert pending opportunities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with basic computer applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using an iPad, laptop, and desktop computer.
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Educational Background and Experience:
- A degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) along with relevant experience in the moving sector, real estate, or outside sales is advantageous but not mandatory. A High School diploma or GED is required.
Work Environment:
- Combination of indoor and outdoor settings.
- Office-based environment.
- Extended periods of sitting and driving.
- Regular use of telephone communications.
- Frequent travel by vehicle.
