Behavioral Health Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Hadley, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards.
- Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
About the Role
This is a full-time position in our 22-bed inpatient Behavioral Health unit, providing trauma-informed care to a mixed demographic of patients. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic team environment, providing care to patients with a range of issues, from mood disorders to chronic, long-term issues, as well as individuals dealing with a dual diagnosis.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred.
- Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- BLS certification required.
- De-escalation training required within 30 days of hire or transfer into department.
- Prior psychiatric and geriatric nursing experience an asset.
