CNC Machinist Position

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Express Employment Professionals. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality metal parts.

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce metal parts, adhering to precise specifications and tolerances.
• Read and comprehend g-code programs to ensure accurate part production.
• Make adjustments to tool compensation values to maintain process control limits.
• Optimize speeds and feeds to produce quality parts.
• Document changes and provide feedback to the Programming Supervisor.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
• Document in-process inspection and report non-conformities to the Supervisor.

• Minimum 1-2 years of CNC Machine shop experience.
• Experience with FANUC vertical axis machine preferred.
• Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator or Machinist in a CNC shop preferred.

• High School Diploma or GED or Trade school diploma.

• Must be able to lift, push, move up to 50lbs safely.

• Various hand tools, such as: Calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, etc.

• Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal instructions and also have the ability to multi-task.
