Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of organizational and communication skills. As a Golf Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and management of an 18-hole golf course.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily receipt and recording of revenue from various sources, including green fees, golf cart rentals, food and beverage sales, and merchandise.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including cash handling and deposits.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of golf tournaments and events, including coordinating with vendors and staff.
  • Supervise and train staff members, including cart attendants and food and beverage workers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of golf carts and other equipment.
  • Assist with the management of the pro shop, including inventory control and customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as hospitality or business administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a related field, such as golf course management or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of golf rules and regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and push/pull 25 pounds for 40 feet.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PGA certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and financial software.
  • Knowledge of Texas liquor laws and regulations.
