Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Patients: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their medical needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Provide Care: Deliver compassionate and individualized care to patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support.
  • Participate in Care Planning: Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor Patient Progress: Continuously monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to registered nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Facilitate Education: Provide education and support to patients, families, and other healthcare team members to promote health and wellness.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Vocational Nursing Practitioner's License: Hold a current and valid license to practice as a vocational nurse in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Computer Literacy: Possess basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office, information security protocols, and electronic medical record maintenance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Possess the ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
