Job Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team for a 13-week rehabilitation assignment in Woodburn, OR.

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate COTA to provide high-quality patient care and support our clients in their rehabilitation journey. As a COTA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, promoting optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including assessments, goal development, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Transport patients safely and efficiently, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Current COTA licensure and BLS certification.
  • One to three years of experience as a COTA, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and supplies, as needed.
