We are seeking a skilled CAD Drafter to join our team at FA Engineering. As a CAD Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft technical drawings and documents using Autodesk AutoCAD and other software
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and complete designs
• Check drawings for errors, standards, and completeness
• Perform mathematical calculations for geometric relations in designs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards

Requirements:

• Drafting Technical Certificate from an accredited institution, Drafting Apprenticeship Certificate, or equal experience
• Ability to use Autodesk AutoCAD in 2D and 3D
• Ability to use Office Products
• Organizational skills
• Teamwork mentality and ability to coordinate/consult with coworkers to meet objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mechanical engineering (things like: piping, conveyors, shakers, screens, mills, power transmission, pumps, dust collection, HVAC and other material handling)
• Experience with structural/civil engineering (things like: structural steel, concrete, excavation, demo)
• Using Plant 3D, Navisworks, Recap, Advanced Steel, SolidWorks, or Revit

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to access and navigate all areas of construction sites.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
