Laboratory Toxicologist

At LuX Diagnostics, we are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Technologist to join our team in the field of Toxicology. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play a critical role in conducting various laboratory tests on biological samples to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform various laboratory tests to analyze biological samples for the presence of toxic substances.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment used in toxicology testing.
• Prepare samples for analysis following established protocols and procedures.
• Conduct quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and precision of test results.
• Interpret and report test results accurately and promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of tests performed and results obtained.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely test results for patient care.
• Stay current with advances in toxicology testing methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Specialization or certification in toxicology is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, especially in toxicology.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent certification in toxicology is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
