About MC Squared

MC Squared is a leading consulting engineering firm with expertise in Geotechnical Engineering, Geo-Environmental Services, Construction Materials Testing, and Pavement Design. Our clientele includes government agencies, municipalities, and major engineering firms, and we are committed to delivering innovative solutions for complex subsurface challenges across various sectors including Transportation, Water/Wastewater, and Aviation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tests on construction materials such as concrete, soil, and asphalt, including moisture content and density assessments.
  • Conduct aggregate testing, including sieve analysis and moisture content determination.
  • Execute concrete testing, including mix design and compressive strength evaluations.
  • Carry out tests on building stones to assess strength and absorption properties.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures during testing.
  • Utilize appropriate safety equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage sample testing and documentation, including retrieval and disposal of tested materials.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.

Experience

  • Some experience in soils, masonry, concrete, and asphalt testing.
  • Experience in Structural Steel Inspection is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
