About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Architect to join our team at Datadog. As a key member of our Business Systems team, you will play a critical role in driving efficiency and velocity across the organization through process optimizations, automations, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement system integrations and process automations to improve business processes and reduce manual effort.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, HR, and Sales, to identify technical gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Architect, build, and maintain system integrations and process automations, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to Datadog's security, privacy, and compliance standards.
  • Develop and maintain internal documentation and processes to ensure seamless integration and automation.
  • Work closely with the Security, Privacy & Compliance teams to ensure business systems adhere to Datadog's security, privacy, and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze business requirements and design and configure recommended solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical solutions to various audiences.
  • Strong technical skills, with experience integrating systems using middleware (e.g., Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft, Zapier).
  • Prior experience as a business system administrator (e.g., NetSuite, Zendesk, Salesforce or Workday) or in a similar role.
  • Prior experience leading small to medium-sized cross-functional projects from requirements gathering to go-live.
  • Comfortable with code (e.g., Python, SQL) and excited to learn and develop across enterprise-grade systems (e.g., Greenhouse, NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday).
