About the Role:

Covenant Health (Tennessee) is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Roane Medical Center. As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate patient care by assisting physicians and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Create and maintain a sterile field and provide the instruments and supplies required by the surgeons in a sterile manner.
  • Competently perform with and/or without assistance the majority of assigned cases in a given service/shift.
  • Participate in identifying cost-effective measures for clinical care.

Requirements:

  • Must hold current and active national Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification established by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
