We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Valdez Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our Emergency Room, with the ability to float to Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the ER, with the ability to float to Labor & Delivery and Medical-Surgical units as needed
- Work within a small Critical Access Hospital environment with 11 acute care beds
- Accommodate variable shifts with a requirement to work some weekends
- Be open to floating within scope to meet facility needs
- Accept hospital-provided housing and transportation for the duration of the assignment
- Adhere to facility guidelines regarding time off and vehicle use
- Required to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
- Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting system
- Provide references covering one year of employment within the last three years
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ER, L&D, and Med Surg
- Preference for experience in Critical Access Hospital
- Alaska State License (Pending license accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
