**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our Smart Packaging Solutions Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and maintenance of automation systems for our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Safety and Compliance**: Ensure all customer and Grantek safety rules and GMP regulations are followed.
  • **Automation System Implementation**: Provide services including configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems, both onsite and remotely.
  • **Technical Documentation**: Read and interpret diagrams, technical documentation, and standards.
  • **Collaboration**: Work with electrical and mechanical installers, and engage with the Engineering team for all projects.
  • **Process Improvement**: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • **Training and Development**: Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on automation systems.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • At least one of the following: EET diploma, Mechatronics diploma, or AS degree.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Full-time access to a personal vehicle.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% throughout the United States.
